Venezuelan cocoa and coffee stand out at the Rimini international gastronomic fair in Italy

Venezuela presented the best of cacao and criollo coffee at the 46th edition of the International Artisanal Ice Cream, Pastry, Bakery and Coffee Fair “SIGEP World 2025”, which took place from 18 to 22 January, at the Rimini Exhibition Center, Italy, an event that is a world reference for the pastry sector and its raw materials.
This 46th edition had a space dedicated entirely to sustainability, the “Sustainability District”, where Venezuela, known worldwide for the exceptional quality of its products, was present thanks to the collaboration of the Organization Italy, Latin America and the Caribbean (IILA), and the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the European nation.
Venezuela invited visitors to discover the flavor and tradition of its products through cocoa and coffee tastings. These activities not only allowed us to experience the richness of Venezuelan flavors, but also to promote the country's commitment to sustainable production and the preservation of its traditions.
The Venezuelan representation promoted these excellent Creole sectors in the IILA exhibition spaces, thanks to funds from the Italian Development Cooperation, made available with the purpose of supporting Latin American member countries to hold meetings, commercial promotion activities and tastings.
