Venezuelan College of Dentists deploys care day in Parque del Oeste

The Venezuelan College of Dentists and the national professional union joined forces to provide direct support in the facilities of Parque del Oeste to citizens affected by the earthquakes that occurred last June 24 in the capital city and in the state of La Guaira. This initiative is part of the civil social assistance deployments activated to accompany communities that suffered the impact of the seismic event.
The institutional spokespersons explained that the approach took place on Thursday, July 2, 2026, providing a space for support and primary care in the field for affected families. The mobilization of specialists made it possible to decentralize health services and provide timely containment in public spaces enabled for contingency.
The medical and trade union day stood out for the deep sensitivity, commitment and absolute willingness of oral health professionals to serve the population in this difficult time. Under the fundamental premise of keeping “Venezuelan dentistry united by reconstruction and hope”, volunteering reaffirmed its active role in national solidarity plans.
