The Hugo Chávez Frías Factory Industrial Complex of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guiana (CVG), in collaboration with the Venezuelan Oil Chamber, Zulia Chapter, held a conference focused on business opportunities within the framework of the Special Agrifood Economic Zone of the East (ZEEAO).

The conference, whose main objective was to promote strategic alliances and promote import substitution in the sector, was attended by Carlos Fanía, president of the Industrial Complex, and Enrique Novoa, president of the Venezuelan Oil Chamber, in addition to Roy Biagioni, representative of the Zulia Chapter.

During his speech, Fanía explained the installed capacity of the Industrial Complex, as well as the professionalism of human talent committed to the productive agenda of the Venezuelan government.

This space allowed interested Venezuelan companies to establish a rapprochement with the Industrial Complex, facilitating a productive dialogue through moderated round tables, in which more than 15 companies participated.

The event culminated with a meeting of the Zulia State University Management Council, where future perspectives on technological independence in the oil sector and the consolidation of strategic alliances between industry, academia and the State were addressed. This panel was attended by representatives from 8 universities at the national level, who discussed training programs and joint projects that would contribute to strengthening national productive capacity.
