The Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, rejected the position taken by the office of the High Representative for Human Rights, which insists on defending the aggressors of the Peoples instead of the rights of nations attacked by imperialism led by the United States.
Through a message on the social network X, Gil denounced that “the office of the High Representative for Human Rights behaves like a neocolonial firm at the service of the United States and its satellites, instead of defending the rights of the Palestinian people, for example, they pounce on those of us who build sovereignty and independence.”
The head of the foreign relations portfolio added a video in which the permanent representative to the UN, Alexander Yánez Deleuze, gave a speech in Geneva, Switzerland, denouncing the instrumentalization of organizations that should be defending the rights of peoples to their free development instead of following guidelines to Western powers and their neocolonial plans.
“Every day more nations and peoples are raising their voices against criminal Unilateral Coercive Measures and against interference and disrespect for the sovereignty of peoples, and this has also been manifested in this debate on Venezuela at the United Nations Human Rights Council.”
