Venezuelan Foreign Minister: We reaffirm the ties of friendship and the solid bilateral relationship with Egypt

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, reported that he had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Badr Abdelatty, with whom he discussed important issues of binational interest.

From his telegram channel, he reported “we had a conversation (...) in which we reaffirmed the bonds of friendship and the solid bilateral relationship that celebrated its 75th anniversary last year, a milestone that we celebrate in style”.

He explained that both foreign ministers “agree on the importance of continuing to strengthen a broad cooperation agenda and to build new paths that bring us closer together and promote greater understanding and mutual benefits. In addition, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, we express our gratitude for Egypt's full solidarity and support for the Venezuelan people.”
