The Venezuelan Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Drug Use (FUNDAPRET), through its Addiction Intervention team, conducted the Relapse Prevention Workshop at the San José Gregorio Hernández Therapeutic Community, located at kilometer 16 of El Junquito, in Caracas.

This was reported in a press release by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, where it explained that the training day aims to provide practical tools and effective strategies that allow participants to design a short, medium and long-term plan of action, aimed at strengthening positive behavioral changes, consolidating their recovery process and promoting a sober life, away from substance use. psychoactive.

During the activity, fundamental aspects such as identifying signs of risk, strengthening social skills, building support networks and conscious planning for possible situations of vulnerability were addressed, key elements to ensure social and family reintegration.

The director of the area, Keilin Rondón, highlighted the importance of these training spaces, pointing out the importance of having skills to deal with other environments outside this center is essential. “The idea of this workshop is that they come out with the necessary tools, since we will always be exposed to signs of risk,” he said.
