Venezuelan Francisco Peñuela will participate in the Vuelta a Murcia

The Venezuelan Francisco Peñuela will face his second challenge of the month of February with the professional cycling team Caja Rural Seguros RGA, on February 15, at the Vuelta a la Región de Murcia 2025, in Spain.

“For me it's a dream to be on this team; ever since I arrived in Spain I've always seen the Caja Rural as one of the strongest Pro Teams in the world,” confessed the calapedista.

“In this event I will try to do my best, help the team at all times and be able to grab as many points as possible to place ourselves among the first places,” he said.

The demanding challenge, which will celebrate its 45th edition, will cover 199 kilometers. The joust match will take place at 12 noon from the Jumilla municipality, north of Murcia, and will cross the four municipalities of Cieza, Mula, Sierra España and Alcantarilla.

This will be the sixth event on the calendar so far in 2025 for the 24-year-old Venezuelan rider.
