Venezuelan Judiciary strengthens inter-institutional cooperation with Honduras

In order to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation ties in the judicial sphere, representatives of Venezuela and Honduras held a working meeting, the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) reported, through their account on the social network Instagram.

It specifies that Carmen Alves Navas, the member of the Civil Cassation Chamber and Coordinator of the Special Commission for International Affairs of the Supreme Court, participated on behalf of Venezuela, and on behalf of Honduras, its ambassador to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Scarleth Romero Cantarero.

The Supreme Court highlights that the activity was carried out at the diplomatic headquarters of Honduras in the country, and the issues addressed by the magistrate of the Supreme Court and the ambassador of the Central American country were in international judicial matters and the rapprochement of collaborative relations between their judiciary powers.

These meetings promote diplomacy in judicial matters between sister countries, in addition to building bridges of communication, with this initiative the best public policies and good practices related to international law and foreign policy are designed.

Also, on August 24, 2024, the sectoral vice-president of Sovereignty, Security and Peace, G/J, Vladímir Padrino López, met with the Secretary of State in the Office of National Defense of the Republic of Honduras, José Manuel Zelaya Rosales, in order to establish the agenda for deepening bilateral relations in the area of defense and sovereignty.
