The men's under-18 softball team beat Guatemala with a score of 8 runs by 1, at the Parque de Mayo stadium in Bahía Blanca in Argentina, and achieved its second consecutive victory in the Pan-American Championship in the category. With this result, the Creole team equals second place in the table together with Canada and Argentina.

The victory went to pitcher Maikel García, who worked for 6.0 episodes in which he allowed a couple of hits, a dirty run, gave a walk and fanned 13 opponents to leave his 2.80 ERA. The defeat went to Javier Meza after receiving seven uncatchers, eight scores, seven of them dirty, with eight tickets and six strikeouts.

The general classification places three teams with two victories and one loss: Canada, Argentina and the Venezuelan team. Guatemala and Peru remain undefeated, while the host cast leads undefeated with three victories.

The Venezuelan national team's next match will be against Argentina tonight, in a decisive duel to advance to the medal stage and secure one of the four places in the U18 World Championship scheduled for 2027.
