Venezuelan refereeing team will be in charge of the first leg of the CONMEBOL Recopa 2026

The match between Lanús and Flamengo, champions of the Copa Sudamericana and the Libertadores 2025, in the first leg of the CONMEBOL Recopa 2026 will be attended by a Venezuelan referee team.
The match will take place this Thursday, February 19 at the Ciudad de Lanús stadium, in Buenos Aires, from 8:30 p.m. (Venezuela time), to define the continental title.
The CONMEBOL Referee Committee appointed Alexis Herrera as the main referee, accompanied by Jorge Urrego and Lubin Torrealba as assistants. Yender Herrera will be the fourth referee and Erizon Nieto will be the fifth referee, while the VAR system will be run by Ecuadorian referees.
