Venezuelan softball team won its second victory at the Central American Games

The Venezuelan men's softball team won its second victory in this discipline at the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo 2026, after beating Cuba 5-2.

Venezuela went up in the first chapter itself with a race. Later, he scored four between the third and fourth episodes, at the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.

Pitcher Luis Colombo took the victory after working for 5 two-thirds innings, allowed 5 hits, 2 runs and struck out four batters.

The defense was led by David Galeno, who hit a home run and drove in three runs.

In their debut, they beat the Dominican Republic 2-1.
