Venezuelan swimmer Alberto Mestre qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

“With a mark of 21.80, he qualified in the 50-meter freestyle
swimming with a national record. Mestre won the event at the 9th International Open
of the Dominican Republic,” the Venezuelan Olympic Committee reported through the social
network X.
The Venezuelan swimmer will camp his brother Alfonso to Paris and they will compete
in the 50-meter freestyle event.
It is worth noting that Alberto is the fifth swimmer from Venezuela to participate in this category of the Olympic Games and will be the second to compete in it at least twice.
