Venezuelan sword team among the top 10 at the 2025 Heidenheim World Cup

The Venezuelan sword team made up of the brothers Rubén, Francisco and Jesús Limardo, in addition to Grabiel Lugo, were among the top 10 of the Heidenheim 2025 World Cup.

The Venezuelan team led by Benry Martínez ranked tenth in the event and remains in seventh position in the world ranking and first in the Americas, according to Prensa Ministerio del Deporte.

In the individual competition Francisco finished in square 32 of the general table, Rubén in the 36th, while Gabriel in the 203 and Jesus in the 239.

Soon, this sword team will continue its preparation to enter the Grand Prix of Budapest Hungary next March, as part of the route to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
