Venezuelan Taekwondo delegation to participate in Central American and Caribbean Games qualifiers

The Venezuelan taekwondo team traveled to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to participate in the qualifying round of the Central American and Caribbean Games and in the International Open tournament, a sporting event that begins the route to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028.
Between Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10, the delegation will seek to secure its places, while from April 11 to 12 they will focus on scoring points for the world ranking at the International Open, the Ministry of People's Power for Sports detailed on its website.
National taekwondists will participate in the kyorugui and poomsae modalities technically led by teacher Seong Hoon King, together with coaches Antonio Aranguren, René Silva, Mario Leal and Javier Delgado.
The women who are looking for their place in this contest are Virginia Dellan, María González, Alexmar Sulbarán, Hillary Clemente, Carolina Fernández, Jennifer Fuentes, Yullianni Pedraza, Naylis Ascanio, Noris Borges and Naholy Bastidas.
For the men's category, the Criollos Yohandri Granado, Juan Grimaldo, Iván Hernández, Jhoel Díaz, Luis Álvarez, Carlos Contreras, Jeshua Pedraza, Moisés Sosa, Abraham Vallenilla and Luis Daniel Noguera will participate. While in the poomsae category, Nancy Haiddad and Aarón Bolívar will compete.
