Venezuelan women's volleyball will compete for a ticket to the 2026 World Cup

The Venezuelan women's under-17 upper-mesh team takes action starting this Wednesday at the South American Championship to be held in Lima, Peru, on September 21.
The championship brings together eight national teams belonging to the South American Volleyball Confederations (CSV), which will compete for the title and for places in the 2026 World Championship.
The national team has been on Peruvian soil since September 12, where, together with the teams of Ecuador and Peru, they are working hard to prepare with friendly matches.
Full preparation
This competitive modeling aims to acclimate and refine technical and tactical details prior to the championship.
Venezuela is in Group B along with Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, while Group A is made up of Bolivia, Chile and Peru.
The group stage starts this Wednesday with three daily matches, followed by the semifinals on Saturday 20th and medal definitions on Sunday 21st.
