Venezuelan Yangel Herrera's Girona thrashed Cádiz and secures place in European cups

Girona FC defeated Cádiz 4-1 on matchday 32 of the Spanish First Division, confirming that next year they will represent that country in European competitions.

The goals scored by Eric García, Iván Martín, Artem Dovbyk and Portu scored for Girona while Gonzalo Escalante scored for Cadiz.

Specialized media report that with 18 points left, Girona is 10 points ahead of Atlético de Madrid, its closest competitor, but two points behind the Barcelona Football Club, which is in second place in the league.
