Venezuelan Yilihannys Jiménez wins bronze in the 2026 Junior World Weight Championship

The Venezuelan athlete, Yilihannys Jiménez, won the bronze medal in the 58 kg division during the first days of the 2026 Junior World Championship, held in Ismailia, Egypt.

Jiménez secured his place on the podium after lifting 92 kg in the starting mode, the Ministry of People's Power for Sports detailed in a press release.

Later, in the envión test, she registered 113 kg to reach an Olympic total of 205 kg, which placed her in fourth place in the general classification of her category. The national delegation also achieved outstanding results with the participation of Enderlin Ulancio, who took sixth place in the 48 kg, accumulating 167 kg in total.
