Venezuelans living in countries without consular representation who processed their passport between July 28 and August 14, 2024 may collect it at the headquarters of the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME), located in the city of Caracas, Venezuela.

The countries that do not have diplomatic representation for passport management are: Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay, the agency specified in its Instagram account.

This was reported by SAIME on its account on the social network Instagram, where it also noted that for those holders who cannot travel to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the option of authorizing an immediate family member to withdraw their passport has been enabled.

However, the designated representative must present an apostilled power of attorney in the country where the holder resides, since any other document will not be valid in Venezuela.

In addition, in order to withdraw the passport, the fee corresponding to the receipt of the document must be canceled. As of April 21, 2025, citizens will be able to carry out this procedure officially.
