Venezuela's national team is nearing the semifinals of the U-23 Pan American Championship

The Venezuelan baseball team in the U-23 category demonstrated that it is still the main candidate to qualify in the Pan American Championship, after beating the Brazilian team 1x0.

The Venezuelan team now has a perfect record of four wins and zero losses, consolidating itself as one of the favorites of the tournament.

The Venezuela team had the services of starter Maikell Manzano, pitcher for the Caracas Lions. The serpentinero worked for 5.0 innings, allowed two undisputed innings, awarded one ticket and struck out four to claim the victory.
