The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, presented this Monday the real figures of narcotic relations and drug production in the world, which demonstrate drug trafficking routes and the legal framework that must accompany the international fight and fight against the mobilization of drugs.

During a conference with national and international media, Rodríguez showed data from U.S. organizations and multilateral entities such as the United Nations (UN), which leave Venezuela out of the equation of transnational drug mafias.

In this regard, he stressed that this dismantles “what is being said about Venezuela today to try to justify armed aggression, to try to justify intervention and to seize the great material wealth that Venezuela has such as oil, gas, gold, bauxite, water resources, bionatural resources, resources widely and historically desired by centers of hegemonic power.”

He pointed out that “one of the worst lies, falsehoods, lies that has been warned against Venezuela is to pretend that Venezuela is a country of narco-terrorists and that the Venezuelan government are narco-terrorists.”

The vice-president showed the UN reports on drug trafficking, which for 27 years have not mentioned Venezuela as a country of relevance in terms of illicit drugs, narcotics or narcotics.

Venezuela, I will repeat, in its international category, is not a relevant country in terms of drug trafficking or related crimes. It's in all these reports from 1999 to 2025,” he emphasized.
