Vice President Delcy Rodríguez in the face of the imperial threat: Bolívar's example is our guide

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Thursday the validity of the integrationist ideology of Liberator Simon Bolivar, commemorating 195 years since his passage to immortality.

From the National Pantheon, in Caracas, where the remains of the Father of the Fatherland rest, Rodríguez pointed out that on this date the “fire of the Fatherland is burning”, in the midst of threats from the United States (USA) against peace in Latin America and the Caribbean. 

 

“We came to recharge ourselves with the immortal invincible spirit of our Liberating Father, who marked our path 2 centuries ago and today continues to mark the destiny of Venezuela, continues to mark the anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist spirit of the Venezuelan people,” he said.

He emphasized that, at this time, “where aggressions that loom over our Homeland from outside, the example of Bolívar is our guide, it is our rubric, it is our beacon of action. Don't make a mistake about Venezuela and don't make a mistake about Bolívar's sons and daughters,” he stressed.
