Vice President Delcy Rodríguez inaugurated the ExpoFeria Nacional Buffalo, Sheep and Goats 2025

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the inauguration of the ExpoFeria Nacional Buffalo, Sheep and Goats 2025, stressed that production in this sector is on the rise, which guarantees animal protein for the people.

Rodríguez, during her visit to Simon Bolivar Park in La Carlota, in Caracas, was accompanied by Nicola Fabozzo, president of Criabúfalos Venezuela, who said that in the case of buffalo milk, it has managed to consolidate itself in the daily consumption of thousands of families, due to its nutritional quality and commercial value.

Added to this growth is the contribution of buffalo meat, which already represents approximately 18% of the meat consumed in the country. For his part, Luis Pérez Stuve, president of the Venezuelan Meat Council (CONVECAR), specified that this sector benefits every year more than one and a half million bovine animals, destined for consumption by the population.

The vice-president thanked the collective effort of hundreds of associations, unions and producers present at this fair who have decided to make the field an engine of development for Venezuela.

The National Buffalo, Sheep and Goat ExpoFeria 2025 is an event that seeks to bring the population of Caracas closer to the reality of the Venezuelan countryside. In this third edition, there will be a sample of more than 1,200 animals from 16 states of the country, with the participation of more than 80 national producers.
