Vice President Delcy Rodríguez: Marco Rubio and María Corina Machado are despicable beings

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, described as despicable beings the Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio and the fascist extremist María Corina Machado, “because every day they wake up planning how to attack and how to harm Venezuela.”

He commented that the constant attacks against Venezuelan migrants, “one day they say they are criminals, the next day they belong to the Aragua Train.”

He emphasized that it is a hate campaign against Venezuelans, “a campaign generated by the extreme right to attack the Bolivarian Government, but they have not been able to and will not be able to.”

In this regard, at the event led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who held a meeting with the grandparents of the Fatherland at the inauguration of the House of Grandparents and Grandmothers, in the parish of La Candelaria in Caracas, Rodríguez exalted the resistance and commitment of the country's grandparents to continue working for the country, despite the blockade and sanctions against Venezuela, on the part of imperialism.

“Despite the blockade and sanctions against Venezuela, on the part of imperialism, it is our grandparents who have told them we are not going back to the governments of the fourth Republic, they are our historical memory and they are also hope, because they are the ones who show the way to our boys and girls,” he said.

He argued that “if Venezuela has to respect anyone, it is our grandparents and grandmothers, they are the ones who are at the forefront defending their children, grandchildren, family members, who are kidnapped in the United States and El Salvador”.
