The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, oversaw this Monday the La Paz Pumping Station, in the Iribarren municipality of Lara state, to guarantee water to the local population.

“More than 120,000 people will be served with this work, but remember that we have 10 projects that we are also supervising their execution to provide comprehensive care to the entire capital city (of Lara),” Rodríguez said in statements to the media.

He explained that they are reviewing projects in other municipalities due to the problem of water supply, “the primary source of water, the entire pumping and pumping system, its distribution, so we are working directly with Minister (Rodolfo) Marco Torres, who is also directly supervising these works.”

“Since the very moment that the president (Nicolás Maduro) appointed us just 15 days ago, we have been reviewing health projects, very important to address the surgical debt that exists with the people of the state of Lara, to also address issues of water, public services, public lighting and roads,” added the Vice President, noting that 70% of pavement has been carried out in this last line.

He stressed that everything is possible thanks to the 1x10 of Good Government, “also preparing us for the electoral appointment of this July 28, where the Venezuelan people will come out to express themselves freely,” he emphasized.
