Vice President of Productive Economy of the PSUV holds meetings with leaders of the CP of Vietnam

Venezuela and Vietnam reaffirm binational ties of solidarity

The Vice President of Productive Economy of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jesús Faria Tortosa, visited the city of Ho Chi Minh City and participated in activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the National Reunification of Vietnam.

Deputy Fanía met with the Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, to whom he transmitted warm greetings from the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the senior leadership of the PSUV, according to a press release from the Venezuelan Embassy in Vietnam.

Later, he held a meeting with the Secretary of the Central Committee and head of the Central Office of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Le Hoai Trung.

The Deputy highlighted the figure of the Vietnamese leader, Ho Chi Minh, as a reference for ethics and politics for revolutionaries around the world and stressed that the attendance of a Venezuelan representative at these events is a good time to deepen the ties between the two Parties, Governments and Peoples.

For his part, the Vietnamese leader, Le Hoai Trung, thanked the Venezuelan Government and the PSUV for their support to Vietnam and expressed his satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations, the intense exchange of delegations and the meetings between representatives of both parties.

He also expressed interest in increasing cooperation between the two countries.
