Vice President of the CNE: 100% of the tables were installed for the II National Popular Consultation 2025

The vice-president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Carlos Quintero, reported that the Second National Popular Consultation 2025 began with 100% of the polling stations installed throughout the country, setting a historic record in the electoral organization of Venezuela.

“Today we can say that we are already at 100% with the tables installed. This reflects the commitment of the Venezuelan people, who from the early hours of the morning, at 5:30am, were organized to set up the tables and guarantee the opening at 8:00am,” said Quintero during a telephone contact with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

He specified that the day has an expanded infrastructure, with 7,438 polling stations distributed in 5,471 voting centers throughout the national territory, more than 140,000 officials and officials of the Republic Plan have been deployed to ensure the development of the electoral process.

Quintero also extended an invitation to all citizens to participate in the electoral simulation scheduled for May 11, in preparation for the elections on May 25, where the members of the National Assembly and the regional offices of governors will be elected. “I call on all people to mobilize, to participate and to exercise their right to vote. This is a firm step towards a more vibrant, more authentic and more ours democracy,” he said.
