The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, presented this Thursday to the country's accredited Diplomatic Corps the actions taken by the extreme right to ignore the results of the presidential elections of July 28.
From the Casa Amarilla Antonio José de Sucre, in Caracas, Rodríguez revealed to international representatives the plans of this political sector before, during and after the electoral process.
In this regard, he recalled that the team of former candidate Edmundo González Urrutia and his boss, María Corina Machado, had announced 10 days earlier that they would not recognize the results issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE), the only body authorized to do so.
He said that extremists set the stage to present some alleged acts that ended up being fraudulent. “They were setting up the situation they generated of violence and ignorance on the part of the public authorities in Venezuela,” he emphasized.
