The executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, through her Telegram channel, reported that she held a meeting with her counterpart from the People's Republic of China, Han Zheng, at the Great Palace of the People.

“We talked about the importance of strengthening the ties of cooperation between our nations within the framework of the Strategic Partnership at Every Test and All Time, in the face of a new world that frees itself from hegemonism,” Rodríguez wrote in a message accompanied by audiovisual material.

Rodriguez, who landed in Beijing for an official visit last Wednesday, the arrival of the vice president represents a reaffirmation of bilateral commitment at a time of renewed US pressure.

He also emphasized “complementarity” as the axis of a relationship “under all tests and at all times”, while presenting concrete proposals outlined by the national president to deepen cooperation with China.
