Vice President Rodríguez held a meeting with the International Red Cross Movement

Through her Telegram channel, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that she held a meeting with the representation of the International Red Cross Movement in Venezuela, made up of the Venezuelan Red Cross, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of the Red Cross.

In this regard, he indicated that during the meeting, new spaces for joint cooperation were reviewed for the attention of the Venezuelan people.

He stressed that on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, he transmitted recognition and greetings for their 130th anniversary to the volunteers who are part of the Red Cross.

It is important to highlight that Venezuela maintains a historic cooperative relationship with the International Red Cross. In recent years, agreements have been strengthened for emergency care, volunteer training and the promotion of human rights.
