Vice President Rodríguez: More than 10,000 tons of proteins were distributed in the month of June

This Saturday, June 28, the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted that in the month of June, more than 10,000 tons of protein have been distributed through the programs of the Great Food Mission of the Agrifood Engine.

Also, during the supervision of the day of social care carried out by the Bolivarian Government in the Catia La Mar parish, Vargas municipality of the state of La Guaira, he emphasized the commitment of President Nicolás Maduro to guarantee supplies and items to more than 4,200 families in that sector and other families from all over the country.

“We are not only guaranteeing food; with the entire government team, our ministers and ministers we are working to guarantee comprehensive care for our people, to guarantee food sovereignty, for equal distribution and social justice (...) In addition, it is an important support in the face of the criminal blockade that mainly sought to affect the humblest, most vulnerable people in Venezuela,” he said.

In addition, he also highlighted the commitment of the Head of State to all people affected by the rains recorded in the country.

He reaffirmed that the agri-food engine continues to work with fundamental and strategic objectives in what is domestic production. “Guarantee the full supply of food for the Venezuelan family; the strategic substitution of domestic imports that allows their expansion and at the same time the savings of foreign exchange through the strategic substitution of imports,” he said.

For his part, the governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, thanked the Bolivarian Government for the more than 4,000 families that benefit from the day of social care. In addition, he highlighted all the work that the National Executive has been carrying out for the welfare of the Guairian people.

In this regard, he indicated that the day not only covered the food sector, but also health, sports, recreation and culture. At the same time, he noted that work has been carried out to rehabilitate schools, fields, deliveries of gas cylinders, the inauguration of the communal self-government house and the provision of subsidies to entrepreneurs.
