Vice President Rodríguez: Productive growth has been reflected in all food categories

The Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez held a productive meeting with the Agrifood Engine, where she highlighted the sustained growth in food production and the promotion of an import substitution policy, following the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro.

“We have taken stock of very important advances. Productive growth has been reflected in practically all food items, from animal proteins to eggs, chicken and milk,” he said.

Rodríguez also highlighted the positive commercial development of food produced in the country, highlighting growth of 6.11% in this sector and an increase in GDP of 8.71% in the third quarter of the year.

“We are still on this path of boosting productive engines, and Venezuela is overcoming difficulties,” he concluded.
