The Executive Vice President and Minister of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, led a meeting this Monday with the vice-ministers of this portfolio and the president of Petroleos de Venezuela Sociedad Anónima (PDVSA), where the balance sheets in oil, gas and fuel were presented.
“The oil sector maintains sustained growth, the result of its own efforts and of national and international strategic alliances,” Rodríguez said during the meeting with the authorities.
The minister also noted that they analyzed the projections of Venezuela as an energy power and announced that the Hydrocarbons University will open undergraduate careers in petrochemistry, geophysics, well management, reservoir engineering, gas production and processing.
He also noted that they reviewed the energy policy of the United States towards Venezuela, which “has always had the intention of a colonialist policy, of domination and control of our energy resources.”
In this regard, he emphasized that “history will demonstrate that Venezuela will overcome and follow its productive path, of national development and of happiness for the people.”
“And that we must definitely twist his arm, reformat this colonialist policy towards our country and that the current United States government understands that the formula is international cooperation, that the path is trade relations in accordance with international law,” he said.
