Vice President Rodríguez to the United States for its trade war: They are going to fail and they are failing!

This Thursday, April 10, the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stated that the United States (USA) is destined to fail with its trade war, with which they intend to position themselves as the owners of the world.

“This policy where the United States pretends to be the absolute master of the world is destined to fail, they are going to fail, they are already failing,” he emphasized, stressing that, for example, against China they have already lost because today it is the first economic power in the world.

In this regard, during the presentation of the Economic Emergency Decree to the National Assembly, he specified that the United States sanctions more than 30 countries with the highest tariffs that have been imposed since the Second World War.

“This beginning of the trade war against all the blocs of countries in the world is the beginning of a violent escalation towards a reconfiguration where the United States intends to be the master of the world, to be the owner of natural resources and raw materials,” he said.

Faced with this, he reaffirmed that Venezuela's position has always been sovereign and independent and does not accept impositions from any country. “Glory to the brave people of Venezuela (...) when they have told us only these companies can work there, we say no, we are going to work with companies that we like and that should be in Venezuela according to national interests,” he said, stressing that the United States is another partner for the country.
