In a simultaneous videoconference with workers in the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, called for them to remain alert to any attempt at sabotage or digital war against our industry.

In this regard, the Minister of Hydrocarbons also urged the working class to exercise extreme vigilance on two fundamental fronts: the physical security of facilities and the cyber protection of operations.

He took the opportunity to convey President Nicolás Maduro's guidelines to maintain firmness and willingness to defend the country's peace, tranquility, territorial integrity and energy resources.

He reiterated the importance of maintaining the protection of the industry in all its spheres, in the face of the actions of imperialism against our Homeland.

He pointed out that the barbarism of the government chaired by Donald Trump, by robbing a ship in the Caribbean to steal Venezuelan oil, constitutes an illegal act that violates international conventions that can only generate indignation and shame before the world.
