Vice President Rodríguez: Venezuela managed for the first time in its history to produce 96% of the food it consumes

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, celebrated through a post made on her account on the social network X, that Venezuela has managed to produce 96% of the food it consumes.

Rodríguez pointed out that this event occurs for the first time in history and that it also guarantees full supply for the People, while adding that, with the help of President Nicolás Maduro, the economy continues to rise, “with the Economic Recovery Program.”

In February 2024, the Head of State highlighted the hard work of the country's productive forces and committed himself to achieving 100% in food production and even creating export routes, given the new economic dynamics that are emerging in the country. “Venezuela must assume the commitment to move from importing country to exporter,” he said.
