The director of the Vicente Emilio Sojo Choir, Ángel Rengifo, said that the institution aims to disseminate the music of Venezuelan composers, originally from the colonial era and all those who have made history in the country.
Jean Franco Palacios, pianist, said that it has been a great wonderful experience within the choir, “because it has given us the opportunity to expand our knowledge through the music and the voices that accompany it”.
During his participation in the program Contrastes, which broadcasts Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he pointed out that each rehearsal becomes a test of the works that are then transferred to the orchestral part, which is the union of all its members to highlight what the orchestra is.
For their part, Antonella Pennimpede and Denis Andrade, members of the choir, highlighted the wonders of this group and the voices that are available there for the events. In addition, they pointed out that the choir vindicates the legacy of Venezuelan composers.
