Vinotinto women's soccer rose to 42nd place in the FIFA ranking

FIFA published the ranking of women's national teams for December, in which Venezuela climbed four places after its performance in the world cup qualifiers.

The women's Vinotinto went from 46th to 42nd place with 1523,769 points, improving its best historical position, according to the Vinotinto website.

The Criollas overtook Paraguay and Chile in the standings, so they are now the fourth best team in South America.

The four games played at the start of the World Cup for Brazil 2027 were taken into account, in which the Venezuelan national team beat Paraguay and Peru and equalized with Chile and Ecuador.

Spain remained at the top of the ranking and Brazil, the best placed in Conmebol, climbed to sixth place.
