Vinotinto women's was in the Tainan Group at the Baseball World Cup

The Venezuelan women's baseball team that will participate in the World Cup of the discipline already has a group and rivals to face in Chinese Taipei in August of this year. The Vinotinto girls stayed in the Tainan Group, as identified by the organization of the event.

In total there are twelve teams distributed in two groups: Rockford Group and Tainan Group. These groups owe their names to the cities that will share the venue of the event both in Taiwan, a territory of China, and the United States (Rockford, Illinois).

Venezuelan girls have just won the Pan American Championship undefeated and this new stage is a challenge for a team that is ranked fourth in the world according to the last world ranking.

For this WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup 2026, the national team will face powerhouses such as Japan and the host team Taiwan or China Taipei. This event in Asia is scheduled to start from August 23 to 27, and will be the first major stop in the search for absolute glory for Creoles.
