Water Ministry performs maintenance on a water treatment plant in the South of the Lake

The Ministry of Popular Power for Water Care, through HIDROLAGO, began preventive maintenance of the Casigua-El Cubo Water Treatment Plant, which will benefit more than 15,000 inhabitants of the Jesús María Semprúm municipality in the state of Zulia.

By means of a press release, it was reported that the check and revision of the 60 hp engine and the pump that discharges 60 liters of water per second began, guaranteeing the distribution of the liquid to 15,000 inhabitants in the upper and lower network of this area of the South of the Lake.

Felix Torres, president of the regional hydrology company, explained that the “day to monitor the operation of the Casigua-El Cubo Water Treatment Plant consisted of the replacement of couplings and alignment of the mechanical unit, in addition to verifying the proper functioning of the control board and its electrical parts”.
