Water Ministry reactivated three deep wells in Zulia

The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of Popular Water Power, carried out the reactivation of three deep wells for the care of 3,200 families in the municipalities of Machiques de Perijá and Villa del Rosario in the state of Zulia.
The Multidisciplinary Water Team in the Machiques municipality activated the Los Chichies well, with the installation of 10 HP electrosubmersible equipment to recover a flow of 10 L/S, to serve 300 families in the Wayúu sector, October 12, Bartolomé de las Casas parish.
In addition, in Villa del Rosario de Perijá, two deepwater sources were reactivated: well 22 A, which had the installation of 40 HP submersible equipment for a production of 22 L/S, located in the Noriega Trigo II sector, serving 1,250 families; and well 23, with 50 HP electrosubmersible equipment for water production of 28 L/S, located in the La Cueva II sector, serving 1,700 families.
With these actions, the Bolivarian Government reaffirms its efforts to guarantee quality basic services and revitalize water sources essential for the development of communities in the Zulian region.
