This Monday, September 23, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, led the red awning press conference, in which he highlighted the organization's work agenda and highlighted issues of national and international interest.

In this regard, the inauguration of the new PSUV house in Valencia, Carabobo state, was highlighted; as well as the large deployment of revolutionary forces to celebrate two months of the popular victory.

  • “A house that is available to the militancy, the party and anyone. It has medical and dental services and a space is open, a library for reading circles, and young people have their space here too”.
  • “This house belongs to our town, come and visit it and have a good time here, see the photos that are here, they are part of our history”.
  • “The 28th of this month marks two months since the great popular victory of the presidential elections, where brother President Nicolás Maduro was elected and that fills us with joy (...) So on the 28th we are going to hold state marches; in all the states of Venezuela, Chavism is mobilizing to celebrate the victory of July 28.”
  • “We have to prepare for a great day of celebrations. And where do those celebrations take place? Always on the street next to the town.”
  • The PSUV remains in permanent deployment with the task entrusted by President Nicolás Maduro on the 5 generations and 7 forces ahead of the Historical Congress that begins next October.
  • “The PSUV is one of the historic forces that will be there in Congress. We will have genuine spokespersons in the activity
  • Home-to-home visits are maintained in all communities.
  • “The United Socialist Party of Venezuela is the vanguard of the Bolivarian Revolution.”

He also criticized the new show that the extreme right is trying to set up with Inmundo González and the Congress of Spain.

  • Edmundo González is a bustling man who deceived his people, he prepared everything to leave since the 29th, he knew he wasn't going to win and he got into the Dutch Embassy and didn't come out until they opened the door for him to enter the Spanish Embassy; everything was square.”
  • González intends to deceive the world “by saying that it was a coercion, an act of pressure and blackmail. Nobody can believe that (...) I had it all planned out.”
  • “If anyone chased it was María Corina Machado to run away in the arms of the vampire Ledezma and Leopoldo López; she doesn't have it easy (Edmundo)”.
  • “It's that they think they're superior, they think they're an empire, they think they can dictate rules to the rest of the world, they think they can impose some position on a country.”
  • Spain is just another member of the tail behind North American imperialism.”
  • Venezuela is free, it is sovereign, it is independent and we do not accept interference from either Spain or the European Union or the United States or anyone else”
  • The call for the opposition will be “interplanetary, we send messages to Mars and Jupiter to help them, because the problem is no longer in Venezuela. Why don't they do it in Venezuela? Because they don't have people and they want to get the world's attention, because they think the world is going to put pressure on us.”
  • What the opposition “has is money (...) that terrorist sector of the opposition led by María Corina Machado is a big mafia (...) They have no people and they call it the issue of networks, of their influencers, that the truth is mercenaries”.
  • “The money was almost stolen” from the latest widespread strategy to steal from the people (...) The Venezuelan opposition is full of thieves, of rascals”.

In addition, he warned about the spread of fascism in Spain and throughout Europe; he also questioned international organizations such as the United Nations that are useless, but should not be abandoned.

  • The spread of fascism in Spain and throughout Europe is like a “serious illness”.
  • “The Kingdom of Spain should do its part to close the road to fascism, which is almost a curse for the world at this point. They are racists, supremacists, they are the haters. They are like this in the world emerging”.
  • Where fascism appears, “you have to hit it with a bat. With fascism, fascism must be defeated and exterminated, no matter what they tell us, but where fascism rises, terrible harm will be done to humanity.”
  • Spaces such as that of the United Nations (UN) “are totally obsolete, but they are spaces that we cannot abandon”
  • The UN has become a “useless space, it doesn't make decisions, it doesn't do anything, it's concerned about what the United States decides and not about what affects the world”.
  • “As if it were not with anyone, they threaten to bring their hatred almost to a world war, but the UN is concerned about what is happening in Venezuela, which is a country in calm and tranquility and in holy peace throughout the country.”

During his stay in Carabobo, Cabello also reopened the headquarters of the PSUV in Guacara, which had been destroyed by sectors of the Venezuelan extreme right following the election results of July 28.

  • The attacks of the Venezuelan extreme right against the spaces of revolutionary forces “have as their main objective to frighten our people, but it is a typical form of the behavior of fascism”.
  • “They think they are superior (...) they are fascists and they are not crazy because they are fascists, they are crazy because they are fascists, which is different.”
  • To neutralize attacks, there must always be a “popular organization, always together with the People”.
  • “Those groups that attacked the house of our party have to be singled out, recognized and punished, we know who they are and some of them are surely already arrested; and surely their partners leave them abandoned and then say that they were 'innocent children'”.
  • “This is the demand of the party, of militancy, of love, of enthusiasm, of faith, of hope for a better Venezuela, the conviction that no matter what they (the extreme right) do, we are determined to win.”
  • “In their hatred, they even took pictures because that was the way to get paid (...) they are mercenaries, we are pure militancy pure love, this is a tribute to (Hugo) Chávez (...) we are reopening the house of Chávez, of the Revolution, of President Nicolás Maduro and fascism will not pass”.
