This Wednesday, a new emergency shipment of four tons of essential supplies arrived in the country from the Strategic Reserve in Panama of the World Health Organization (WHO).

This was reported by the agency, from its Instagram user, while detailing that the cargo includes trauma kits, medications, equipment for field operations and personal protective equipment, aimed at strengthening the care of affected people.

These supplies will make it possible to meet the health needs of up to 10,000 people for three months, reinforcing response capacity in impacted areas, the publication specifies.

With this delivery, the Pan American Health Organization and the WHO are counting the mobilization of a total of 6.2 tons of medical and emergency supplies, including supplies prepositioned in Venezuela and distributed during the first 72 hours of the emergency.
