The Grandparents and Grandmothers for the Homeland movement gathered this Thursday, February 19, on the stairs of Ezequiel Zamora Park in Caracas, to demand the release of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the first lady, Cilia Flores.
From early in the morning, members of grandparents' circles from different sectors of the capital raised their voices to ask for respect for the country, an end to aggressions against the country and the return of the presidential couple.
Grandparents expressed themselves not only with written messages, but also with songs and slogans. The members of the movement also held a banner across the width of the park's stairs.
