The Venezuelan midfielder Rómulo Otero with a double made his debut as the goal scorer for the Nacional in the 4-0 win over Cerro Largo at the Municipal Architect Antonio Eleuterio Ubilla Stadium, on the tenth day of the Uruguayan Apertura Tournament.
The Venezuelan started out as a starter and in the 32nd minute of the match he scored his first goal and the second for his club, after an assist from Luciano Boggio.
In the second half of the match, at 63' Otero took a perfect free kick that went straight into the Cerro Largo net, thus signing his double and putting the match 0-3 in favor of Nacional.
Since his arrival to the Uruguayan team, the Venezuelan has played ten matches, eight of them for the league championships, with 2 goals and 1 assist.
The Venezuelan team is ranked number six in the standings of the Open Tournament of the First Division of Uruguay with 16 points.
