Leaders from various political sectors met at the Women's Table for Democratic Coexistence and Peace, in Caracas, a space for dialogue that seeks to prioritize national welfare and the strengthening of the State over particular, ideological or partisan differences.

In this sense, the call was emphasized to lay down individualistic attitudes in order to move forward on the path of the country's reconstruction and taking the floor of the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, who called for us to put aside any petty attitude and to find ourselves on a common path for Venezuela: the reconstruction of the country, dialogue and the definitive overcoming of fascism.

In the same vein, at the Center for Latin American Studies Rómulo Gallegos (CELARG), they assured that today there is full awareness of the historical role to be assumed and of the commitment to a free, independent and sovereign Homeland.

One of the central points of the Coexistence Table is the legislative agenda. It was announced that they will work together to regulate fundamental laws, with special emphasis on the Organic Law on Women's Right to a Life Free of Violence.

For her part, the deputy to the National Assembly for the Pencil Alliance party, Mayerling Occhino, emphasized that mutual recognition is the first step in moving towards the consolidation of peace. She also stressed that priority areas such as health and education must be addressed from the empathy of female leadership, which has a special capacity for resolving conflicts in the territories. Occhino also stressed the importance of strengthening women's education and ensuring effective compliance with current laws, so that empowerment is translated into a real tool for fighting for their rights in the popular sectors.

Along the same lines, the Secretary of International Politics of the Cambiemos party, Dariana Polo, described the meeting as a historic step towards the reconciliation of the country. From his perspective as a young man, he pointed out that the patriotic spirit must prevail over political differences to advance in the construction of a prosperous and conflict-free Venezuela. Polo drew attention to realities such as the feminization of poverty, aggravated by various factors, including unilateral coercive measures. Finally, she urged to continue making progress in political parity, recognizing the leading role of women in the basic social fabric and their capacity to promote the transformations that the country demands.

The program was also favorable to vindicate the strategic role of Venezuelan women in the defense of national sovereignty when in April 2002, in a civic-military union, female force was key to restoring the constitutional thread, defeating the fascist coup and protecting the country's independence from imperial aggressions.
