Women's national soccer team kicks off home world cup qualifiers against Chile

The women's national soccer team will start this Friday (5:00 p.m.) the fight to qualify for the first time in history to a World Cup, when it meets its counterpart from Chile, at the Metropolitan Stadium of Cabudare, in Lara state, as part of the first day of the Conmebol Nations League.
The eleventh led by Brazilian strategist Ricardo Belli reaches twilight lands with the mission of obtaining three points that will place them in the battle for one of the two places that give direct access to the world cup event, which will take place in Brazil between June 24 and July 25 next year.

The midfield will be shared by Gabriela García (Atlético Madrid — Spain), Daniuska Rodríguez (Club Unión Torrense — Portugal), Dayana Rodríguez (Corinthians — Brazil), Melanie Chirinos (ADIFFEM), Lourdes Moreno (Guild — Brazil), Barbara Sandoval (ADIFFEM), Karlis Durán (Caracas FC) and Floriangel Apóstol (Deportivo La Coruña — Spain).
In the case of the forward, the attack will be led by Deyna Castellanos (Portland Thorns - USA) , Enyerliannys Higuera (Atlético San Luis — Mexico), Joemar Guarecuco (Cali America — Colombia), Mariana Speckmaier (Durham — England), Barbara Olivier (Tigres — Mexico), Genesis Flores (ADIFFEM) and Airling Herrera (Caracas FC).
The tournament will be played in a format of round against all in single matches, totaling nine rounds every eleventh. On each day, eight teams will face each other, while one will be free, because Brazil has already secured its presence in the World Cup because it is the host country.
The two teams that finish in the first two places will advance to the World Cup directly, while those that finish in third and fourth will advance to the intercontinental repechage.
