Work is completed on the Tuy II System: The water service will be normalized this Sunday in Baruta

The mayor of Baruta, Darwin González, announced through his official channels the successful completion of preventive maintenance work on the Tuy II System. After receiving confirmation from the Hidrocapital authorities, the local president assured that 100% execution was achieved in the planned works, marking the beginning of the supply recovery phase for the bank.

The most complex technical maneuvers took place in the Santa Teresa del Tuy area, where specialized crews were able to completely replace a 48-inch section of pipe. According to the established schedule, pressure tests of the system began this Friday afternoon, an essential step to ensure the integrity of the network before proceeding with the progressive restoration of pumping cycles.

While Tuy II is stabilizing, González clarified that sectors such as Guaicay and La Bonita are currently being served through the Tuy III System. For the rest of the municipality, the work scheme is as follows:

Saturday night: Start of technical maneuvers and opening of keys.

Sunday: Regular arrival of water flow to Baruteño homes.

The municipal president emphasized that permanent monitoring is maintained in all communities of Baruta. This monitoring seeks to verify that water flow normalizes smoothly after the completion of these infrastructure works, essential to optimize the distribution of water resources in the area.
