The Venezuelan athlete Anthony Montero, reached his qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the Wrestling discipline category 74 kilograms after beating Raúl Palacios from Mexico 11-0 in the semifinal match.

The native of the state Falcón is the fourth fighter qualified for the top Olympic event and the second in the men's category after this week Betzabeth Arguello, Soleymi Caraballo and Raiber Rodríguez achieved their place in the competition that will take place in the French capital.
