XVII Pedagogical Meeting kicks off the festival of La Llora in Aragua

More than 1,300 students from 30 educational institutions in the José Félix Ribas municipality, Aragua state, participated in the XVII Pedagogical Meeting of La Llora, with the purpose of kicking off the festivities of this ancient and traditional dance native to the city of La Victoria

In this regard, the director of Culture of the municipality, Rafael Figarella, highlighted the importance of these actions for the safeguarding of this Cultural Heritage of the Nation. In addition, he thanked the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, for the support of the President of the Republic, and of the authorities who, in one way or another, are promoting the holding of this important event.

For her part, the director of the Center for the Development of Educational Quality of Ribas, Yoselin Martínez, expressed her satisfaction with the longevity and impact of the meeting, noting the great school participation. “Today is a pleasure and we are full of happiness because we are at this important opening, traditionally, 17 years of tradition, culture, dance, integration (...) We have more than a thousand students,” he said.

In addition, the municipal and educational authorities emphasized the importance of the integration of La Llora in the school and community environment.
