ALBA-TCP declare that they are inspired by the resistance of our original peoples to colonization; by the emancipatory and anti-imperialist feat

This Thursday, the XXVI Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) reaffirmed the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, during the meeting that took place in New York City, United States (USA).

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel, shared the statement after the important meeting of the member nations of ALBA-TCP.

“Inspired by the resistance of our original peoples to colonization; by the emancipatory and anti-imperialist feat of Simón Bolívar, José Martí and Augusto C. Sandino; by the living legacy of commanders Hugo Chávez and Fidel Castro Ruz, who, one year after his centenary, continues to be a beacon of dignity and rebellion, we reiterate our commitment to the defense of the sovereignty, independence and peace of Our America,” wrote the foreign minister.
